The Miami Heat have waived 25-year old rookie center Mickell Gladness.  Gladness played in 6 games (0 starts) for the Heat this year and he averaged 3.5 minutes, 0.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.  The Heat won’t miss Gladness as they really don’t have much P.T. available to rookies.  Gladness might hook on with another team that needs some size.

UPDATE:  (2/13/2012) – The Heat have re-signed Mickell Gladness to a 10-day contract.
