Zydrunas Ilgauskas is doing a solid job for the Miami Heat

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Steppin Up by admin on Thursday 23 December 2010 at 1:46 am

The Miami Heat got hot the minute they inserted 35-year old center Zydrunas Ilgauskas into the starting lineup.  Ilgauskas has played in 30 games (21 starts) for the Heat so far this year and he is averaging 18.2 minutes, 5.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game so far this year.  Big Z is also shooting 53.5% from the floor as he is shooting the ball really well.  When teams double one of the “Big Three” it often leaves Z open and he can still knock down shots with his jumper.  He has been a huge asset for the Heat and I look for that to continue.
