The Heat scorch the Raptors 99-77

The Heat shot well last night (50.7%) and that led them to victory.  Dwyane Wade had an awesome game with 37 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Alonzo Mourning was tough around the basket as he scored 12 points and snatched 6 rebounds.  James Posey came off the bench and scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.  Jason Williams directed the attack with 11 points and 6 assists.  Antoine Walker added 10 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.

The Heat improved to 9-11 with this win.

The Heat really need the big fella back.  Alonzo Mourning is doing a decent job in his place, but their is no way to really replace the Diesel.  Coach Riley really wants him to work hard and come back in shape.

Heat blasted by Nuggets 123-107

The Heat fell behind 74-56 at halftime and could never recover.  The Heat also didn’t play a lick of defense as the Nuggets hit 54.1% from the floor.  Udonis Haslem led the way for the Heat with 21 points.  Dwyane Wade was really busy with 21 points, 14 assists and 4 steals.  Jason Kapano added 19 points off the bench.  Dorell Wright had a decent game with 11 points and 5 rebounds.  Alonzo Mourning played good around the basket with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

The Heat fell to 8-11 with this loss.

Heat nips Kings 93-91 in OT

The Heat played great defense in this game as they held the Kings to 36.1% shooting from the floor.  Dwyane Wade had an awesome game with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots.  Jason Williams had a decent game with 11 points and 4 assists.  Gary Payton was busy last night with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.  Alonzo Mourning added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.  Udonis Haslem only scored 5 points, but grabbed 14 rebounds.

The Heat got a much-needed win to improve to 8-10 on the season.

Heat lose tough one 101-97 to Clippers

The Heat played hard, but not quite good enough to beat the Clippers.  Dwyane Wade led the way with 33 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Alonzo Mourning was solid near the basket with 14 points and 11 rebounds.  Udonis Haslem also played tough with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The Heat have fallen to 7-10 on the season.
